Our uncoated, wood wicks are made from cherry wood that is sourced and manufactured in the USA from a Forest Stewardship Council Certified Mill making it a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative. On par with our brand's commitment to sustainable packaging, all of our candles come in a fully recyclable 9 ounce glass jar that can be easily repurposed and an uncoated, recyclable kraft label. With custom blend scent profiles consisting of fine, phthalate-free fragrances and essential oils from around the world and names that pay homemage to the Tamil language, our candles are sure to make a statement within your home.

Vetiver, translating to roots that need to be dug out, is derived from the Tamil word, Ver or root. Vetiver is a grass used as cattle fodder however ancient Tamil literary works mention the use of vetiver as medicine and as a ingredient in purifying water. In Silappathikaaram, a Tamil epic, vetiver is categorized under "omaligai", a collective Tamil term used to describe ingredients that enhance the bathing experience. Today the essential oil extracted from its roots is a prized ingredient in the cosmetic and perfume industries. Our candle Ver combines the now popular vetiver with the spicy aroma of black pepper and woodsy scent of sandalwood to create a one of a kind fresh, earthy, woodsy fragrant accord.
