This body butter incorporates magnesium flakes amongst ingredients like Arnica infused oil, basil, lavendar and eucalyptus essential oils to offer relief of sore muscles and restlessness, while promoting rest, relaxation, and sleep.
If you experience any of the following chronic symptoms: muscle cramps, restless legs, migraines/ headaches, irritability, fatigue, hypertension, and/or sleep issues, you may be have an undiagnosed magnesium deficiency. In today's world magnesium deficiency is quite prevalent across all ages due to diet. The vegetables we depend on as a source of magnesium are grown in soil conditions that have overtime become depleted of this mineral. Fortunately magnesium can also be absorbed transdermally (through skin).
Although epsom salts are the most common form of magnesium, the vast majority of epsom salt available on the market are synthetically made. Magnesium flakes in comparison are sourced from the ancient Zechstein seabed in Northern Holland, Europe and absorb through the skin at a much faster rate than epsom salt. However applying magnesium flakes/spray/oil directly to skin may cause irritation or itchiness.
This is where our body butter comes in. Thulasi offers a healthy dose of magnesium, hydration through plant butters, the antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties of Arnica flowers, the anti-inflammatory properties of hemp seed oil, the analgesic property of basil essential oil as well as its ability to improve blood circulation, and the relaxing aroma of lavender to soothe tired, aching muscles and promote quality sleep.
