Our Masala Tea Powder, is made with all the traditional organic herbs and spices in addition to lemongrass, tulsi leaves, and thippili pepper making this a perfect warming drink for the Fall and Winter season. Lemongrass is detoxifying. Tulsi leaves help alleviate, cold, sore throat, and cough. Thippili pepper helps relieve cough and boosts immunity.
To Use: Bring 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, one Black Tea bag, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp masala tea powder, and 1 cm piece fresh ginger to a gentle boil and let steep for five minutes. Add desired amount of sugar (2 teaspoons recommended). Strain into cup and drink warm. Alternatively use 1/2 tsp per serving in your favourite tin milk tea recipe.
