Valimai, meaning strength, is our extra strength deodorant made with a combination of magnesium hydroxide, green clay, and activated charcoal in addition to a blend of patchouli (pacculi), coriander, and tea tree essential oils, for those that require more odor control.
Most natural deodorants use baking soda for odour control however baking soda can irritate sensitive skin, especially when used regularly. We use magnesium hydroxide, which is derived from the naturally occurring mineral, burite. It's commonly used in medications such as those for constipation or acid control but when used in deodorant it is effective in controlling odor. Most natural deodorants use arrowroot or tapioca flour to aid in moisture control and for that smooth feel. We use green clay for it's ability to neutralize bad odor, absorb sweat to keep you dry, soothe sensitive skin, while detoxifying your underarms. We also use moisturizing oils and butters to keep your underarms smooth as well as a special blend of essential oils to keep you smelling fresh all day long.
To Use: Apply a small amount with clean fingertips after shower. Reapply as needed.

NOTE:
When switching from an aluminum-based deodorant or antiperspirant to a natural one, you may experience a two week transition period before you notice effective odor control. During the transition period, your body will work to detox. You can speed up the detoxifying process by going deodorant free and scrubbing your underarms with a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar during shower on a daily basis until you notice no foul odor.
