Our body butter incorporates a combination of nourishing fair-trade butters, oils, and essential oils that are easily absorbed to hydrate and protect the skin. We thought about those with nut allergies and as a result reformulated this butter with a oil of similar fatty acid composition as that of sweet almond oil. In addition to that we opted not to use cocoa butter or coconut oil as a small percentage of the population experiences dryness to cocoa butter and reacts to coconut oil. Hopefully this ensures that our body butter is safe and effective for all ages and skin types.
Ingredients include highly emollient kokum butter, mango butter, and shea butter in addition to apricot kernel oil, hemp seed oil, sunflower seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, saffron-infused jojoba oil, seabuckthorn oil, local beeswax and Vitamin E. We use Frankinscense, Vetiver, and rose essential oils for their skin healing properties. Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that retain the natural aroma of their source. Although they provide a scent, they are very different from synthetic fragrances or fragrance oils which are essentially chemicals. We carefully select organic, pure, authentic essential oils obtained through steam distillation in our products for their healing and aromatherapy benefits. However you may not notice a strong scent as the scent of the essential oils may be overpowered by the natural, crude (unprocessed, unbleached, undeodorized) butters used in our formulation. This body butter is definitely thicker than the ones typically found in commercial stores, however it has a higher percentage of the the good stuff, melts on contact with skin and glides on effortlessly leaving the skin looking nourished with a healthy glow.
To Use: To use, warm a small amount of product between fingers and rub onto affected areas.

NOTE: Keep away from direct sunlight. Due to the natural nature of this product, product might turn dense due to gravity. When this happens, simply rewhip with a hand-mixer.
