Kundalini Herbal Hair Oil
Kundalini, our herbal hair oil is made with 14 ingredients, five of which are oils that make up the base. We use Jamaican black castor, black sesame seed, black seed, flax, and neem oils, and when used correctly, this formulation targets a multitude of hair issues and works for all hair types.
Castor oil is recommended for high porosity hair due to its thicker consistency. However, when diluted with lighter oils and warmed, it works well to penetrate low porosity hair. Also, castor on the scalp is highly beneficial for hair growth.
Black sesame seed oil is one that works well to nourish both hair types and is great for premature aging.
Black seed oil is another oil that works for both high and low porosity hair. It's a potent antioxidant that helps with not only moisture retention but stimulating the hair follicles and slowing down premature greying. Studies show that black seed oil can increase hair density by 30% over a three month period. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it's a great oil for those experiencing hair loss from autoimmune conditions.
Flax seed oil offers deep hydration and helps with frizz while promoting hair growth. Its high fatty acid and antioxidant content nourish the follicles and add shine to the strands. Flax seed oil is another great oil for those experiencing hair loss from autoimmune conditions.
Neem oil is a thick oil, but when diluted with other oils, it can be beneficial for both low and high porosity hair. Neem oil conditions the scalp, prevents dandruff and other scalp issues.
As you can see, the oils we chose for Kundalini are not the typical oils you'll see in other hair oil blends. We made sure our formulation is suitable for all hair types, for those experiencing premature greying, for those experiencing hair loss from autoimmune conditions, and those experiencing dryness/dullness, and those looking to simply grow their hair in density and length.
Lastly, if you are experiencing hair loss, always start at your doctor's office. Nutrition deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune conditions can be the reason your hair is shedding, and it's important to address the root cause first.
